Huge Hidden fees

I have been with International Bancard less than a year and there have been $150+ fee at the end of the monthly statement on a few occasions that only lists it as "Infrastructure." I have a small company and this is a significant fee.

I called customer service who said that they have the right to charge this fee and it is based on how money they have to spend for their infrastructure. Said that it was a one time fee.

Said that they would send me a copy of the contract with the section allowing this highlighted. They never sent it.

I was just charged another $160.

I went over fees extensively before signing up and this intermittent recurring large fee was never disclosed in conversations with their employees.

User's recommendation: Choose another provider. They say they can charge you large amounts randomly for their infrastructure expenses with no notice and no explanation other than "Infrastructure"

As another reviewer wrote, the exact same thing happened with early termination fee of $599.00 deducted. The original contract was 2011 so how that is early I don't know. This business was bought from old owner, she had no idea that there was an early cancellation fee or that the contract renewed on its own. The company continued to take $62.90 each month in fees for nothing, there were no transactions to process. They collected over $600 for doing absolutely nothing and another $599.00. This is a small company in a small town. I think the sales people do not disclose this on purpose. Very deceptive!

Deceptive practices! DO NOT SIGN contract unless you ask for the entire 12 pages. You are only offered 3 of which you read and sign and there are actually another 9. You are signing a contract for 3 years, with a outrageous $599 early cancellation fee. You also must notify them that you intend to cancel BEFORE 60 days BEFORE the end of your contract or it rolls over into another year, and you STILL have a $599 early cancellation fee. They can also raise fees anytime they want. They can only be deceptive to make any sane person sign this contract. They have taken advantage of our whole salon who are all independent (6 contracts all with same terms - 2 are single parents). It seems so unnecessary to have to trick and trap costumers when all you have to do is offer normal merchant credit card processing. Hope to help someone else not be duped. If I could give a negative star I would. 1 star is too good.

BEWARE!!! They can get you up and running in no time. But when you cancel the service its another story. They will make you jump hoops and delay, delay, delay. Evidently, there is only one person in this company who can cancel your account. She has never been available when we have called. Our business has now been without credit card processing for over 2 weeks and we have still gotten nowhere. What a nightmare. It all started when our terminal broke. When we called to report they said we need to purchase a new one, then they deny saying that after we found another service. The personel are rude and unproffesional when you call. Read your contract carefully! We were with them for over 5 years and they still say we owe an early termination fee? Terrible company to do business with.

Great service and the MERCHANTS NO LONGER PAY PROCESSING FEES on debit/credit cards including VISA/MC, AMEX and Discover.

Michigan based company and the only one in the entire USA allowed to offer this program legally in all 50 states!

I recently switched CC processing companies and terminated my contract with IBC. They required that we send our equipment back within 10 business days. We received their box and sent it out the next day via their FedEx call tag. We sent them both the terminal and the pinn pad that we were given by them in 2008. When I looked at my bank statement they had charged me for 3 pieces of equipment, $599.00, because they say they received it on the 30th of July instead of the 29th(the 10 day rule). I spoke with them at length and they will not give me credit for the equipment so I am having them ship it back to me. This company has been a nightmare to deal with from the beginningand now this experience has confirmed their total lack of ethics and integrity. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY EVER!!!!

International Banc Card Corp

International Banc Card... Yea salesman said cancel at anytime turned into a 3 year contract. I called to inquire about cancelling. 2 months later they cancelled it on their own - charged my account the remaining months and $350 for the machine. The account was cancelled two months ago and they are still taking out the $25 a month account fee, $10 a month statement fee, and $25 a month for some PCI compliance form I did not fill out. I am pissed. Do not do business with them. They did say they would refund my money for the machine when I returned it.

I am having exactly the same experience - WORD FOR WORD! Except, I opened 3 accounts with them.

Actually, one account with three terminals so they are calling it three.

I can't say anything good. I did not agree to a three year term. I did not agree to a $495 cancellation fee, times three.

I will do anything I can to save other people from this kind of bait and switch. STAY AWAY from them.
